He quickly reviewed 6 new CDs, one of which was 1000 Kisses. He really talked it up though, and they showed about 30 seconds of concert footage of Patty singing Making Pies and Stolen Car. (that was the extent of Patty, no interviews/performances etc, just the concert footage) All in all, very nice exposure for Patty to an audience of loyal Sunday Morning viewers who may never have heard of her. She'll get some new sales out of the segment for sure. The reviewer (don't recall his name - he was from VH1) highlighted six new recordings which he picked as his "must haves" for this summer. He reviewed 1000 Kisses for I'm thinking maybe 45-60 seconds during which time they showed some recent in-concert video footage of Patty (footage from live performances of Making Pies and Stolen Car). He gave it a very good review (obviously, or it would not have been on his must-listen summer list). I just saw her play last Tuesday in Seattle and it was absolutely AMAZING. All of her cds including the new unreleased one are beautiful. My personal favorite is probably Central Reservation, but Trailer Park is also really good. I guess it just depends on my mood.
