I do not remember seeing musicians on there in the recent past, but this is an all-around stellar show, and I am sure she'll sing *and* be interviewed. I catch this show when I can; they have segments about just about everything under the sun -- neat show and very well done. You know what I got to do tonight? Nothing. It was wonderful. This was the first night in over a month where I had nothing to do. I actually got to catch up on laundry today, and I took some time to actually watch television which I never do. Anyway, while I was channel surfing, I just happened to catch Patty on a commercial for Monday's upcoming show on USA for "Willie Nelson and Friends". So, check your local listings and set those VCRs for Monday night on USA. Also, I just happened to catch a little blurb about Patty in some local publications here in Nashville, TN. According to the Nashville Rage magazine, Patty will be headlining a show for the summer Wednesday night FREE concert series called Uptown Mix. Also, there was another blurb in another zine about Patty being a "Special Guest" for this summer's other FREE concert series here in Nashville called Dancin' in the District, which happens on Thursday nights. I have not seen or heard about any dates for these performances, but I will let you know just as soon as I find something out. Well, I am going to go back to doing nothing for an evening. Take care and have a good day. - - Sanders ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 21 May 2002 21:41:23 -0700 (PDT) From: Jon Crouse Subject: Re: MM: patty at stubbs I have to confess I'm a bit disappointed at the way the Austin shows are going, and the venues being chosen...at the Mercury in March the opener started almost two hours after the 8:00 time on the ticket...I expect the Stubbs show will be similar. The late starts, are they a fire code thing? An alcohol sales thing? I don't see that many touring acts in clubs, I don't know what the alternatives in Austin are. I guess though for my money (not that I wouldn't pay twice as much and wait all afternoon to see Patty perform if I had to) I like to see a show get started closer to the time stated on the ticket, yeesh...some venue where you could sit down would be nice, too... amber bass-patterson wrote: her new website says the showtime is 9:15. amber "Through Movement We Find Health" The Nia Technique LAUNCH - Your Yahoo!
