Got there 15 min. late and only heard 3 songs. Stolen Car Makin Pies and Tomorrow. I missed Rain and something else. Don, that crazy SOB, told me but I forget what the other song was. Don has been on the road all week. He is in serious need of sleep. I don't know that he has ever missed a concert. I'm not kidding. Karla was there as well and wearing a rubber bra. A story for another time. Anyway my wife and our friend Vicki got in just in time to hear only Tomorrow night. We all walked away with big grins on our face. Bottom line, and I mean this, I would rather hear Patty sing three songs then most artists sing all night. Plus I think Jens post clears up the matter, or at least it should for anyone that can walk and chew gum at the same time. Met Patty for the second time. Friendly, kind and very sweet. Met another Mad Mission lurker named Diane that took a Photo for me. Thank you Diane! Everyone is on there way to see Darcie at the Grape Street Pub. I could not make it, But I will one day Darcie. Hope you knock them dead! Patty looks and sounds great. Stolen Car? Forget about it. I'll bet Bruce himself cries when he hears her sing that song. Jesus H! Consider the possibility that perhaps many of the guests may have been PATTY'S invited guests. Friends, family, etc.? Isn't it time to just let gooooo now? I see. No, that's not the point. The point is common courtesy. The fact that a number of attendees, paid, invited or whatever, were told 8pm and it would be very rude to start at 7:30 which was the time OTHER attendees were told. it's much better to start a half hour later than some attendees were told rather than a half hour earlier than some others were told. This way no one misses any of the show. Mike ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 12 Apr 2002 21:22:49 -0700 From: "V Chenevey" Subject: MM: Patty Jean Sold Out At Barnes & Noble! Gone for a week, and came back to a zillion MM emails! You people are prolific!! And for good reason. What an awesome album. I bought the last CD yesterday at Barnes & Noble in Costa Mesa, CA. The salesperson said she had about a dozen, and already had to re-order. It's on the preview stand, too. Way to go, Patty!
