I already have the five people, who I will be emailing off the list. Looks like I have 3 people who have burners and are very willing to share. I love how people on this list are so nice! To everyone else, don't worry, there are still a couple others that Dana sent cds to with burners who should be posting within a few days. Otherwise, wait for the next round. Lets keep it going! A big thanks to everyone who volunteered. Sold out. While it's great to know Patty's popular, it sucks, big time, for me. If anyone bought any tickets that they might not be needing, after all, please contact me. Tuned in while the song was playing, so I did not hear the radio-personality introduce the song. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 13 Mar 2002 22:19:04 EST From: TheGirlsHateHer@aol.com Subject: MM: RE: Patty's Nashville date This is my first post to the list, but regarding the Nashville tickets...In typical 3rd & Lindsley fashion, they started selling the tickets early. I got there somwhere between 1:30 and 1:45, expecting to have to wait until 2 to get my tickets. They were already selling them when I got there, and I got tickets number 69, 70, and 71, which means they had sold 68 tickets before 1:45. 3rd & Lindsley is a great place to see a show, it's a shame they can't get their ticket selling procedure together. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 13 Mar 2002 22:33:52 EST From: MactheMutt@aol.com Subject: MM: Interactive Patty Hello everybody... THIS Cat is going to see Patty in Chicago next Month. Since I've never had the pleasure....I wanted to ask you Patty veterans a question. Does Patty come out after the show and mingle? I don't want to stick around after the show like a big dummy if she's not going to come out anyway. Is she known to do that or known not to do that? Just wondering cause Kasey Chambers did, Buddy Miller did as did my man Todd Snider....all Chicago shows. thanks, Randy ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 13 Mar 2002 23:00:31 EST From: Danalee7@aol.com Subject: Re: MM: Interactive Patty In a message dated 3/13/02 7:33:58 PM, MactheMutt@aol.com writes: << Does Patty come out after the show and mingle? I think she is shy, plus probably drained after all that effort she just put out. At the Eli Whitney Barn concert in '97 she did a receiving line- but it was a small show with about 30 people there. She was very sweet and was so nice to my then 10 yr old daughter Arielle and even remembered her name later when we went back in the line to have a t-shirt signed. My daughter still remembers that attention altho of course I doubt that Patty still does! Last night I watched Almost Famous- really good- you all should rent the video- it showed what it is like for rock stars to have to fend off these crazed fans- after a while it gets old. It is hard to know what to say anyway when you get the chance to speak to them. I would love to know Patty, but I never will. She has shared a lot with me thru lyrics and song, and that is where it ends. She did smile and nod her head at me from the stage at Sedona 2 yrs ago- so I guess at least that day she recognized me after I had a chance to speak with her after the Slims show in San Francisco previously. I hope she didn't think I was one of those crazed fans, altho some people think so......
