(NPC) Hey - it's been awful quiet around here.... While we're all glued to our mailboxes waiting for the Ark show, how's about a little discussion? I've found that lately I've been buying and listening to precious little music by women. I'm wondering, Am I missing something? Is there really that little coming out by women that I'm interested in, or is it getting by my radar? I've heard the new Gillian Welch is excellent - can anyone offer a review? Other recommendations? I'm leaning toward the pop/rock end of things rather than the folksingery stuff, the Gillian Welch thing notwithstanding. What the world needs now is a really good girl group (that doesn't totally suck)!!!
