Could this possibly be true? This notice just came today. Patty in Sedona again! I was going anyway- Jackson Browne and Patty are my two ultimate faves- well, Catie Curtis and Garnet Rogers make four faves. Yeah and Dar and Shawn and IG and a few more too make more faves but Jackson and Patty are at the top. I am so up for this event now! This will be the third time I have seen Patty in Sedona- an absolutely awesome venue! I'll write again if I hear any more! I hope more MM folks make it- last year Don and Jen made it and we met for dinner as well as at the concert. This trip is well worth a major effort to make it. This will be my 4th year. The evening started by seeing Patty at the Ark. (so obviously that made the birthday already!). Thanks to Don, my parents and my best friend were all able to come to the concert (Don's birthday present to me was to pay for all of their tickets!!!). Don will inform you all of the setlist and all the details. I'm sure he's sleeping right now after the 5 hour drive back to Pittsburgh at 11:30 at night. But when he gets up he'll be posting a few of his famous reviews! It's funny because before the show I was telling my parents (Patty virgins) that this concert would be a religious event... Patty came out wearing a black skirt with the virgin Mary embroidered on it. So it was kind of religious.. :-) Well, I got a great recording of the show with my MD and I didn't yell anything stupid this year to be embarrassed about once it's distributed (if any of you have the MI shows from April last year then you will recognize me discussing finals with patty during the show..... so embarrassing!!!) And Don was on his best behavior :-) He didn't yell "PATTY GRIFFIN" once and i have the MD's to prove it!!!" ok, this post is kinda of pointless now so I just want to say a big huge THANK YOU to Don for helping make my birthday so perfect and unforgettable. (we won't discuss the forgettable parts now but know that it had something to do with that double shot of 151 that Andrew poured down my throat...) - jen http://www-personal.engin.umich.edu/~jcaputo If you're a horse, and someone gets on you, and falls off, and then gets right back on you, I think you should buck him off right away. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 19 Aug 2001 04:36:51 GMT From: Tricia9999@aol.com Subject: MM: Suggestion from Hi , stopped by Tennessean.com and suggested that you visit the following URL: http://www.tennessean.com/business/archives/01/04/07416425.shtml?Element_ID=7416425 Here is their message to you: Just thought this might be of interest to some on the list.
