Libby is fantastic, isnt she? I'm glad you're enjoying it. Just wait until the lyrics begin to open you up. Very rich listening with just a sailing voice and an acoustic guitar :-) Email me in a few weeks after spending some time with it and tell me what your favorite songs are. Check out David Wilcox "Big Horizon" if you don't already have it, too. I think you might like it. We were also the last two still at the venue when the show was over. Don shared the set list from Friday's show, and Patty stayed true to it, but playing Tony when she broke yet another string on her guitar. I've had a lot of friends ask me about the show, and I have trouble explaining to them what it was like. I think it's just best if I take them with me next time.I also went to the show at The Birchmere last night...same set list, except no Tony (but, we did get Rain and Be Careful, which was fine by me). I have to write a review of this show for a newspaper, and it really is true that it's more difficult to write a glowing review than a negative one. Since we've been on the topic of Singer/Songwriter's, I wanted to mention a FREE performance showcasing 4 artists, one of whom is a long-time mad mission member, that will take place this coming Saturday in New York City. This is an ALL AGES show, so good music can be heard by all. We'd love the support, so if you know some music lovers in the city, please have them swing by. thanks, gretchen 8.04.01 The Living Room New York, NY 84 Stanton St (at Allen) 10:30 pm an "in the round" acoustic circle of music with Cameron Dezen, Emm Gryner, Jessica Weiser, and Neal with an A, and a photography exhibit by Toronto's Rannie Turingan no cover all ages www.emmgryner.com www.camerondezen.com www.jessicaweiser.com www.rannieturingan.com - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com ------------------------------ End of mad-mission-digest V5 #181 *********************************
