It's too cool. E-mail me if you need a copy and we can figure out a B & P but it has to be done ASAP cause I'm leaving town for the summer in less than 2 weeks. Or... you can download the whole thing from the net: http://dmb.jktang.com/ It's in mp3 format but frankly, that's the best you are gonna get... There are links to find them in SHN format, and if you have the bandwidth then go for them! (then visit http://etree.org to get the decompresser and more information on the rise of the SHN format) Hope that helps - - Jen http://www-personal.engin.umich.edu/~jcaputo - ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Cc: Sent: Sunday, June 10, 2001 12:19 PM Subject: MM: DMB "mystery" recording > I too have been looking for DMB's "Lillywhite Sessions". > Sean, if you get any bites, I'm very up for a copy! Well it sure would be really nice to hear something from the proverbial "horses mouth"! So Doug, Frank, Billy, John---- if you're out there, what gives with Silver Bell? Jay, are you listening? You still are producing for Patty right? (and what is up with Iodine? You guys rock, and my ears are healed-- I'm ready for more---bring it on!) I'm not asking for classified information, and if anything is in litigation I would understand the lack of details, but, we are legion--- we (the fan base) are the people that listen. Can anyone from Vector Management-- Ken, Kathi---- "manage" to send a short e-mail. Who really has the masters??? I guess I'm just frustrated that Patty news of such import originates on the Buddy and Julie Miller list. Unless it is just rumor. Nawwww, rumors on a mailing list? Perish the thought! We now return to our regularly scheduled program, Bernie ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 10 Jun 2001 22:35:53 EDT From: RocketsTail@aol.com Subject: MM: A Thousand Faces So let me get this straight...Patty IS releasing an album soon right? Does she have a new label? She mentioned it in concert and it excited me :-) ~eric "in the battle of time in the battle of will it's only your hope and your heart that gets killed" ~patty griffin ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 10 Jun 2001 20:17:07 -0700 From: "April Fritz" Subject: MM: RE: setlist from nashville show FYI: I believe the new album title is actually "A Thousand Kisses" - -----Original Message----- From: owner-mad-mission@smoe.org [mailto:owner-mad-mission@smoe.org]On Behalf Of lwtaylor@ziggycom.net Sent: Saturday, June 09, 2001 1:38 PM To: mad-mission@smoe.org Subject: MM: setlist from nashville show Just in case you're wondering.. Here's patty's too-short setlist from the dancin' in the district show in Nashville on 6-7-01. 1. Clap Hands (from "a thousand faces") 2. Flaming Red 3. Tony 4. Poor Man's House (by herself) 5. Be Careful with Me (by herself, from "a thousand faces") 6. Sweet Lorraine (started out by herself, then w/ band) 7. Chief (a GREAT new song, from "a thousand faces") 8. Top of the World (from "silver bell") 9. Mary (Encore) 10. Blue Sky 11. Tomorrow Night (bob dylan cover, w/ Kami Lyle on trumpet) That's it! she was great, but her band was lacking.. I think it was just because she hasn't toured in a while. It just wasn't very tight, and as far as her band goes, I enjoyed the uptown mix show last september so much more.. But hey, that's just me. - -lt ------------------------------ End of mad-mission-digest V5 #139 *********************************
