Thanks thanks a thousand thanks to whoever mentioned Amy Correia on this list a couple of months back. I bought "Carnival Love" (and I aslo bought Amy's first album... HA HA!! BA DUM bum *ching*!!) after seeing her mentioned and it's brilliant. She was opening for Duncan Sheik here in SLC on Monday and she was AMAZING. The disc - despite it's sheer brilliance - doesn't quite do her voice justioce. She really wails! She was charming, funny, and gave me a big hug afterwords because I was one of maybe 2 people who knew who she was, and you better believe I was whoopin' and hollerin'!
