Hi Everyone, I've been lurking here for a while. Very disappointed to hear about the delays to Silver Bell. On Sunday 6th May, The LA Times is running an article on the charitable work of Avocado Productions/The Guacamole Fund and Tom Campbell. These people run Jackson Browne's annual Sedona concert which featured Patty in 1998 and 2000. Anyway, apparently they are going to use a photo I took at last year's concert. It's of Tom Campbell during the finale with Patty and Jackson by his side, plus (subject to cropping) Ben Harper, Keb Mo and Bruce Cockburn. So anyone in the LA area, look out for Patty in Sunday's paper. I just checked my local listing and it claims Patty Griffin to be on Austin City Limits tonight, just as it was mentioned on the list. This is max cool cuz I have repeatedly missed this particular ACL show. Well, actually this year has seen a lot of ACL misses for me. Actually, wait a minute! I don't believe I've even watched that much TV all semester. Hey, what was that word I just said? Tee Vee? What the hell does that mean? Okay, I do try to watch SouthPark and whatever's on Independent Film Channel or American Movie Classics (and let's not forget about the "Get Smart" marathon on TVLand), however that TV 'O mine has mostly been a mere fixture in my living room of life collecting dust like everthing else I own (or have stolen). But I'll be sure to crack open some beers tonight and check out the magnificent sounds of Ms. Patty Griffin....or tequila, I've got that too. Hey, I think there's some NyQuil in my bathroom as well.
