I don't know if that is in fact what has happened in the case... but I'm guessing. Still, Patty is an amazing artist so I'm sure that any difficulties she might be having with Interscope won't stop her!!!! Worse comes to worse... go independent or get a new label! Go Patty! :) on 3/18/01 5:10 PM, Sarah at sarahstar@ic24.net wrote: > I got this from a yahoo club of Patty. Sell shares in the cd to the fans. We pay for the production and distribution. It goes gold in about two weeks. We all make money and Patty goes on tour. All kidding aside, one of the best cd's of the year, David Grays--White Ladder he recorded himself. Was signed by Steve Earle after that for release here in the USA. Steve Earle's label would be perfect for Patty. We should start e-mailing him and tell him to buy the rights and release it. How much does it cost to buy the rights of a CD from the suits anyway? This is bull shit. Can someone please post the e-mail address of this, so called record company, so we can get involved. The Evil One feels the need to vent. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 18 Mar 2001 20:21:11 -0600 From: "amber bass-patterson" Subject: MM: Re: Silver Bell damn it ALL to hell! amber in austin "Through Movement We Find Health" The Nia Technique - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sarah" To: "Mad Mission" Sent: Sunday, March 18, 2001 3:10 PM Subject: MM: Silver Bell > I got this from a yahoo club of Patty. The unfortunate thing at this point, though, is that I'm sure there are all sorts of legal problems about ownership of the record as it currently exists because it wasn't recorded independently. Anyone with knowledge of this industry stuff, I'd be curious to know how that would have to work out. In the meantime, I'm still hoping the rumor isn't true; I don't want to think this record will never come to light. with fingers crossed, Lisa - --- Gary Jacques wrote: > Just do it yourself Patty.
