We should probably >>try to know where Patty is on this before launching at interscope...>> Well, I can tell you that every time I saw Patty last year, she seemed like she was ready for the CD to come out already.. When I saw her in April, she said the CD had been done for awhile now, and they were shooting for a late summer/fall 2000 release. When I saw her in the fall, she said it had been pushed back AGAIN until January 2001, and she seemed to be very impatient about the delays. I knew at that point, that it would not be released in January, b/c NOTHING that the record company wants to promote heavily is EVER released in January. After the Christmas run of releases, most people aren't out buying new CD's... I know from experience working in a record store that it would be at least very late Feb/March until it would be out, if the record company was going to support is as much as I've heard they will. They never release anything they feel strongly about for at least 2 months after Christmas. Anyway, just from hearing her talk at her shows, I can say with 99.9876% assurance that Patty is NOT the one behind the delays at Interscope. Lots of thanks to Jessica for posting the address for that lousy record company.. now come on MMer's.. let's write these good for nothing pieces of crap and let them know what we think about them holding Patty back! Let them feel the wrath of "the Almighty's Disciples", so they know how we feel about her/us getting screwed over here! Patty G Rocks! Sony is also incapable of adequate representation. I'm assuming the point of taking stuff out is to get her a broader audience and in theory be less offensive (no-ones offended, but this is record company thinking). But stupid stupid anyway. Not you. Them. Definately them. Maybe its me. I'm cursed. Everytime I like an artist they take a break. Evidence: Patty (company), Shania Twain, Dixie Chicks, Celine Dion (maybe I make people pregnant?!), Alanis Morisette. I think I'll become a Marilyn Manson fan. (Disclaimer: I apologise if anyone likes Marilyn Manson) Sarah > I second Dave on that...Does anyone have the address to Interscope because > I'll certainly bug the hell out of them too.
