If you send him blanks....:) So for all you stragglers who still want to secure your copy of LFML, please send an e-mail to LoveFromMyLips@aol.com..... And now for those of you who signed up but haven't heard from your branch, please let me know by sending an e-mail to LoveFromMyLips@aol.com and I will direct you to the right place. These discs are great. Thanks so much to Jen and (my branch) Don for this opportunity. Don't miss out folks. Patty just continues to give me goosebumps with LFML. About Love From My Lips I also wanted to reiterate how appreciative I am of the efforts to spread these discs around. There's a lot of great stuff here. However, I have a question. Is there a source anywhere online or otherwise that gives more details about these songs, as to when they were written, recorded, etc.? I'm very curious as to where to associate these tunes in the "Patty Timeline." Thanks... www.thedissidents.com ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 17 Jan 2001 16:21:46 EST From: FlamingRed74@cs.com Subject: Re: MM: ? I'm very >>curious as to where to associate these tunes in the "Patty Timeline." >> .. the best thing I can do for you (& this doesn't even really answer your questions) is to refer you to the Patty Griffin Lyrics Archive, which is done by a most incredible MM'er Rachel.. Here is the link The Patty Griffin Lyrics Archive , and if that doesn't work, the URL is.. http://www.geocities.com/Wellesley/3079/patty.html For anyone who hasn't checked the site out, it's well worth it.. Rachel has done a lot of hard work in making this the greatest (in my opinion) Patty Griffin site out there! It not only has lyrics to nearly every song that Patty's ever written.. but it also has news, & a bio section too! If there are any songs in particular that you (or anyone) wants to know something about.. feel free to email me. I'm not a close personal friend of Patty's or anything (though that would be cool), but I've been to enough shows & heard enough interviews & live recordings that I know the approximate time they were written, and the stories behind some of them. Fear not MMer's, the time is fast approaching for the release of "Silver Bell", which in my opinion will be Patty's finest CD to date! AhhhHH!! Who else can't wait!?!?!? :-) Love all, Trust a few... I rang up a friend at Interscope to find out where the hell my advance of Silver Bell was only to find out that the cd has been pushed back AGAIN because "they" want to do some re-tooling of the record. To me, this reeks of over handling by a label that is famous for this (ask labelmates the Toadies what their experience has been like). I was told that we can HOPE for a June release and that what she has heard largely rocks. Oh well.
