Pandora's Box. I hope some people are volunteering privately to share this with these poor groveling list members. I am hesitant to post the original branches again, as they may not be able to do it now. If anyone wants to post their own willingness to do this for folks, that would be great. I am only able to make tapes, but lots of list members have this on CD and do burn CDs's, so that is a better avenue to go. If anyone can't find a volunteer to make them the Cd's, I'll do it for you on tape- you would need to send me a 100 min tape in a SASE. E-mail me privately, but only after you give up on getting it from someone else on CD. Dana Here is the set list. Cat's Out Of The Bag * Never Gonna Be * Connie And Val * Holy Water * The Gate * You Decided * Under These Clouds * Let Your Freedom Ring * Off You Go * Unnecessary * Boxes * I Write The Book * Let Him Fly(Remix) * Every Little Bit(Remix) * Bubba's Sulky Lounge * Nobody's Crying * Calling Me Home * Falling Down * We Are Water * Crazy * Stolen Cars * The Long Ride Home * Silver Bell * One More Girl * Illusions * Tony(acoustic) * Cain(acoustic) * Regarding Mary * Copenhagen ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 4 Aug 2000 13:03:17 EDT From: Mystchif1@aol.com Subject: MM: If you want Rarities READ THIS/Love From My Lips Update.... I hope no one has posted this yet... I've been out of town and haven't totally caught up on my digests. - --- Dixie Chicks Patty Griffin Radio City Music Hall New York City July 20, 2000 By Tom Semioli Not to be overlooked was a captivating opening set by alternative country songstress Patty Griffin. With a sound best described as "Emmylou Harris meets Sonic Youth," Griffin's bluesy vocals and finger-picking guitar accompaniment, set against the distorted barrage of a cowpunk ensemble, filled the hall. Delivering selections from her acclaimed albums Living With Ghosts and Flaming Red, Griffin won the respect of the crowd despite a broken guitar string or two. The Dixie Chicks and Patty Griffin on the same bill is proof that the conventional boundaries separating country music from the rest of the world are vanishing. Hank would be proud. ___ And for any of you planning to see Patty with the Chicks in Nashville... It's not happening. Ricky Skaggs is opening instead. Boo hoo. That's your lesson for the day -- Don't trust Pollstar or anyone else until the tickets actually go on sale. So, I bought tickets for Birmingham, AL where Patty *is* opening (Please, God, don't let that change!). I paid a decent hunk of cash for them on eBay so who knows if they are even legit. And then my dad calls today and said that his "connections" got me tickets for the Chicks show in Nashville. So, I guess I'll be seeing them two days in a row. La la la...
