I just found out that Alice Peacock's (a local artist from Chicago, although she just played the Ark and the Iron Horse a week or two ago and will be back there!) drummer is the same drummer as the one from Sons. She doesn't always play with her, probably 3 out of the 8 times I've seen Alice she's been there, but, their stage banter is always quite amusing. If you've seen Sons, please email me and let me know how they were and stuff. I'm contemplating buying their cd's but want to make sure. Thanks, Terri ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 4 Jul 2000 04:59:53 EDT From: Zelly72@aol.com Subject: MM: Where is she? Does anyone have any idea why it's been so long that Patty's been to Chicago? It seems like she was always here before and now it's been I think at least two years. Just wondering, Thanks, Terri ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 4 Jul 2000 20:08:11 -0400 From: "*~Sarah~*" Subject: MM: Re: NPC: Sons of the Never Wrong I've seen them - at the Ark when Patty played......they were EXCELLENT! I bought one of their cds, "consequences of speech," that night....I definitely recommend checking them out!!! The percussionist (sue?) is so adorable...and also plays some sort of lute/dulcimer-ish thing...sorry...i forgot the name of what it was. At least, she played it at our show. My favorite song is "Girl Shanty" - check it out, you won't be sorry!!! :) Sarah *************************************************************************** "I don't play for races or religions.
