Yeah, she's done some songs I would call country. Sweet Lorraine for one. That happens to be one of my all-time favorite's. But to call her country would be way-way off. She can pretty much do it all. First experienced Patty Griffin on Sessions @ West 54th . Fortunately I taped it, a great show with Wilco doing the first half. Patty blew me away. Just can't get enuf of her music. Anyone knowing of any Patty paraphernalia please broadcast it and spread the word. We saw Shelby Lynne not too long ago at the "Horseshoe" in Toronto and she can kick ass also. Any of you into Sam Phillips? A different style but also a fine artist. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Simmons, Ross" To: Sent: Tuesday, June 27, 2000 5:05 PM Subject: MM: From MusicCountry.com > Check out: > http://musiccountry.com/mcstory.asp?filename=061000pattygriffin.xml > > ------------------------------ End of mad-mission-digest V4 #190 *********************************
