My mom just called me to tell me that Laura, one of my best friends growing up and the daughter of my mom's best friend was abducted on Friday night by someone she met on-line. Let me tell you about laura - she is absolutely brilliant - never a B in her life, a med school student at one of the best school's in the nation. She was home for the summer at her tiny farm town - known best by it landscaping stores located every 1/4 mile. You don't get much more rural.. She is always happy and has a perfect wonderful loving family. She is one of the best people I know and definately the smartest.. class president, all state soccer, the list goes on. But now she is missing and the only thing her family knows is that she told one of her friends that she was meeting some person she had met on-line.. I'm just telling you all this in the hope that if you are planning on meeting someone that you only know from the internet PLEASE think twice... You may think you know that person but I can guarantee you that Laura thought the same - I cant' stress enough that she is NOT stupid! If this person could fool her they could fool any of you too... Please say a prayer for her.
