The very idea of Patty opening for them makes me sick. Perfect example of why main steam music sucks. There should be an award show that goes out there and acknowledges real talent. The closest thing I've seen is WXPN top 50 of the year. Go to www.xpn.org and check out the listeners top 50 for last year. As close as it gets to a perfect world. These guys had Patty in the Studio 4 years ago I think. Best station in the USA! Good Morning Mad Missioners: First let me say I love you guyes!! Then Ill throw in my two cents about Patty opening for the Dixie Chicks. Well, I happen to like the Dixie Chicks myself. I think they are pretty cool. And I also like them for giving credit to people where credit is due. They are crazy about Patty and it's cool they got her to open for them in my opinion. They are DAMM lucky. Also I believe that Patty is the one with the REAL talent!! Not the Dixie Chicks but Patty. Patty has so much more REAL talent than the chicks, but I still like the the Chicks. I think they are cute and they sound good. After not listening to LWG for awhile I was once again blown away by that CD and also everything else that Patty has single handedly done. She is amazing, her musical talents blow me away. I have not see Autsin City Limits yet hopefully one day I will be able to. So, I will not be seeing Patty open for the Chicks cuz Im spoiled now and want to only see Patty....perhaps one day in the future!!! !
