I was a very happy camper sitting on my floor watching Patty- and the band too- I thought the version of Mary was a surprise to open up with, but very beautiful- and Peter Pan was also really good- It was like a different song for some reason- I finally understood it differently than before. Masaki taped it, so Donn, if you need me to send it to you for the tree, I will. NEED it back, tho! I agree with the band that the set list was a good selection- a different collection from the songs I might have expected. We moved this weekend, and stayed at the old address Sat night with the TV in place just to catch this as we knew we wouldn't have cable for a while here in our new place. It was the reward for carrying boxes and boxes up and down stairs all day and then going to work all eve. I would have loved to make it to this concert but had moved to California from CT just before it. I saw Patty instead at Santa Rosa a couple of months ago at the No Landmines benefit. Questions for the band- can you suggest to Patty that she put one of my fave songs- Shells on the next album? Or at least work it up and do it again in concerts- that song would make an unforgettable video. I bet you could do a hauntingly beautiful backup for it like you did for Little God which is another song that could be a really good video. Some good videos would get Patty seen by lots more potential fans- and make her much more visible. Some of you were >dissapointed with the song selection. We are very pleased with what >they picked. Any questions? > I don't think you read the posts correctly. From what I've read, no one was disappointed with the song selection. The only disappointment regarding the songs was that some songs were cut or not recorded at all (i.e., the half hour was too short). If Ms. Griffin were like David Bowie having hundreds of millions of songs from which to choose, then I think there might be more "disappointment of song selection" in the postings.
