Good question Darcie... When I first joined the list I was suprised at the wide age range of the list members. I had not considered the wide range of people that Patty's music touches. I think it's a great testament to her that she reaches so many people. I believe that age is merely a state of mind, but the people that are 40+ grew up listening to music in a time when talent and the ability to write a good song seemed to mean a great deal more than it does now. The fact that those people love Patty shows how extraordinary she is. The fact that the younger folks love her also says a lot, considering the fact that most kids just listen to whatever is spoon-fed to them by MTV (when they are actually playing music that is..) and pop radio. To answer the question, I'm 25.. and I only drink like a $3 whore during football season when my BELOVED Miami Hurricanes are about to lay a whoopin' on some poor souls. GO Canes!
