Anyone else can e-mail me privately to save the list scads of requests that everyone has to read and delete, so we can see how many people would like this tape and if a real tape tree set up is needed to include everyone. I don't know how many people are on this list and how many of you already have it. Dana ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 18 Oct 1999 06:17:15 PDT From: "Nancy Micciulla" Subject: MM: pater pan everyone is talking about the song mary and how it hits them every time. this is true for me as well. . .but peter pan hits me even harder. the sessions taping was the first time i've seen her play it live, and i must say i'm glad she messed up a few times because it gave me a chance to laugh and get over it. but i was definitely tearing. i know there was a discussion about the song a while back, saying it was over produced. there were some complaints about the splash cymbals and stuff. . .but i think that's what i like about it. it gives it a very childish sad type of feeling (to me, anyway) and of course the lyrics. the line "i wrote a note to tell you how you matter. . ." (i'm not gonna type it out because i know you all know it) fit a situation i was in. and the references to peter pan made it even stronger, because that's how we (my "situation" and i) compared ourselves to the world. so anyway. . .that's my two cents about that song. i always seem to be writing about broken hearts and stuff. yuck. thanks for reading! nancy p.s. i'm visiting boston this coming weekend just cause i feel like it. . .anything exciting going on? p.p.s. i'm doing a research paper on clothing and what it says about a person. . .it's primary research, so emails and surveys count and stuff. . .does anyone still have the messages from our discussion about patty's clothing? if so, please forward it to me. thanks! ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ End of mad-mission-digest V3 #299 *********************************
