Are you looking for anything else? I have a cd copy of Patty's appearance on Acoustic Cafe. I thought you might want to put Silver Bell on again, since for some reason the last rarities tape cuts the song off. > Also, anyone know when the soundtrack for "Anywhere But Here" comes out? It *was* supposed to come out yesterday. Unfortunately, I went to my local cd store last week and found out the release has been delayed until November. As I recall, some lucky duck on the list has a promo copy. If you're real nice, he might let you borrow it. > I'll let everyone know when it's all done and start taking requests at a > later date. > Thanks!! > Take Care, > Jen > :) No, no, thank you!! " ive listened to it 800 times.... just that part....over and over.... at a whack of different volumes...... with headphones..... without......and im still undecided about what i hear. i know its something. im just not sure WHAT yet. so id like to know what everybody else thinks. i hear a kind of warbly wavy sustained "eeeeeee" or "heeeee". i THINK it overlaps patty singing the end of the word "fly"....and thus.. thats why i referred to the "eeee" as a background vocal. however, maybe its just really some sort of continuation of "fly".....yet...the quality of the "eee" sounds so different to me than the "fly"....so i dont know. sigh. heck...maybe its not even a voice....heheh if it IS an overlap....is it somebody else singing it? or is it patty, and it was added later on? k guys.....discuss :) and of course, if this is old news, would somebody just email me privately and let me know what was concluded? thaaaaank yoooooouuuuu sonja ps....cristina.....the first thing i thought of was the tori connection ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 13 Oct 1999 16:22:20 -0700 From: "Siegman, Elena" Subject: MM: RE: "background vocals" in LHF I believe that's a siren. There was a discussion about this on the list a while back. Apparently Patty recorded LHF at a friends house (is that right?) and there is a distinct siren to be heard. It's kind of funny - because I'd never heard it until you pointed out where it was! I realized that I always hear it, but I have always assumed that it was outside. (I live in L.A., it's all sirens all the time out here!) I hope that answers your question! She defintaly had it going on. Sometimes you see these performers and your like "What are you wearing?"--but she had it going on w/her platform shoes and black boot cut pants and loose fitting shirt and jacket. Well..not that it really matters and it sucks that we live in a style crazy world, but we do. Ruby just my two cents ===== __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
