Pretty cool stuff... and Chris Feinstein, who played bass on FLAMING RED plays on this one as well. :) peace, rick ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 5 Oct 1999 11:30:45 -0700 (PDT) From: ruby maroon Subject: MM: sessions question Hi all, can someone please tell me this. Are the sessions that get taped available for sale?? I would really like to see Lucinda Williams on sessions, as well as the upcoming Patty. Does anyone know how to get these?? Any info would be appreciated. Ruby ===== __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? I think I remember seeing a "mail to" button on the Sessions website (I don't know the URL off the top of my head but there is a link from the www.freetix.com web site). If you use that mail to button they will probably have the answer. There are usually licensing requirements that have to be worked out between Sony, any third party record labels, the artists, their management, PBS sponsors, and sometimes even audience member releases, before the tapes can be marketed. Those few little items aside, I can't see why they wouldn't give up the goods. Of course, you also have the option of consulting the broadcast schedule and making your own copies (for personal use only, naturally). Let us know how you make out, I suspect we aren't the only two with a place waiting near our VCRs. >From: ruby maroon >To: Patty List >Subject: MM: sessions question >Date: Tue, 5 Oct 1999 11:30:45 -0700 (PDT) > >Hi all, can someone please tell me this. I missed Natalie Merchant on Sessions and called WBGU in Bowling Green (who showed it) and they said it was not going to be reairing for a while and SESSIONS DOES NOT SELL OR RENT OUT COPIES of performances.
