First of all I have to tell the good news. I am going to get to meet Bonnie Raitt, next wednesday!! She is coming here to the Santa Barbara on tour and I did a fund raiser in order to get tickets. Well, the radio station arranged for me to meet Bonnie(I LOVE her)--and when I DO meet her, I am going to try and bring up Patty somehow, I want to tell her she would be a perfect opening act for her or even just to join her tour like Shawn Colvin is doing. Well, we will see but dont you all think Patty and Bonnie would be a knockout!!! I DO. Have a great Friday. Ruby __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? It's done through Real Player so I'm not sure if it'll play o other m3 players. If you want to know where to find a copy, let me know. I never had anyone come close to that performance until 2 years ago, again in Philadelphia, when I saw Patty at the Tin Angel. It was a few months before Flaming Red was released. She played every song on Living with ghosts that night. It will be another 25 years before anyone beats that performance. Although Patty came close this year in Westmont, New Jersey. Anyone who was there that night knows what I'm talking about. So, obviously if you get no list mail most of the day tomorrow, that is why. As usual, during these down periods it would help if you avoid sending posts to the list. When you see posts start to trickle through after this period, you'll know smoe.org is back up. ("well, DUH Mike!")
