I live with that high pitched squeal every freakin' day of my life. It's called "tinnitus" No cure. Relief is available, but it can be ver expensive and one thearpy takes up to 2-3 years to show results. It's one of those, "If you had it to do over again, what would you do different?" questions. It's never "quiet" for me. Take care of your ears. john in sumner wa ___________________________________________________________________ Get the Internet just the way you want it. Just a quick note - Patty ROCKED at Newport! All of the sound level issues that I had observed at other shows had been resolved - Patty and the band blended SO WELL - she did a fantastic version of Flaming Red, and a great rendition of Sweet Lorraine that was totally enhanced by the band! Plus - she was very well received - even in the rain! (it helped that the sun came out during her set.....) WOW! - -Laurel ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 9 Aug 1999 15:00:21 -0400 From: "Owen, Patrick Edward" Subject: MM: tabs? Folks, please please please, anybody with a tab for Cain? Anybody? I'd really like the version on the Lilith Fair CD with the slide guitar pretty please. If anyone could help me, I would be so appreciative. Thanks to all... Um yeah... there's a tab for Cain in the Lilith Fair songbook - exactly the version you were hoping for. You can find it at pretty much any major music store. It's the only Lilith Fair songbook i now of that's available. So.. good luck. take care all, V - -----Original Message----- From: Owen, Patrick Edward To: 'mad-mission@smoe.org ' Date: Monday, August 09, 1999 12:04 PM Subject: MM: tabs? > Folks, please please please, anybody with a tab for Cain? I'm curious -- I'm going to Lilith Fair in Cincy in a couple days to see Patty (yahoo!) and Sarah and Indigo Girls, etc. I just checked the LF web site for times 'n' such, and to my dismay, the powers that be have squeezed Patty into a twenty minute time slot! Yikes! Does anyone know how closely artists follow the schedules? I'm hoping that she'll disregard the rules and play for *at least* 45 minutes. The only reason I'm going to LF this year is to see her! Thanks! Amy ------------------------------ End of mad-mission-digest V3 #233 *********************************
