The only station that plays her here is a college radio staion , and that's about 3 times a week, if you can catch it, radio stinks down here. They're written by a guy named Glenn McDonald, who maintains a weekly music review web page called "The War Against Silence." You can visit the entire guide at http://www.furia.com/twas/index.html. I'll be sending first the review for "Living With Ghosts", and then the one for "Flaming Red". I'll do two seperate messages, since they're quite lengthy. By the way, McDonald calls "Living with Ghosts" the "best album of pure folk songwriting made during my lifetime". Well, that's what the next two messages are, so read them and comment. I happen to agree nearly one hundred percent with him. I have been a member for a while, just too busy lately studying for the NCLEX (nurse registration) to keep up. I was just wondering when Patty will be on Dave, or did I already miss it?? Also, anyone here attending the Newport Folk Festival?? I'll be there on Sunday - Aug 8th to see Patty and Co.!! Thanks and I am ashamed of myself ;-) Shawnte' ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 22 Jun 1999 16:13:43 -0400 From: Bernie Filipski Subject: MM: Re: Patty and the Badlees > Did Patty sing with the Badlees at the shows you went to?
