Well, tape trading of any kind is illegal... but I don't think it's a big deal. It does not, in my view, deprive the artist of any money since we all buy the studio CD,s, go to the shows, etc. Even with 2 for one trades, there is no great profit being made. I would draw the line at buying mass produced bootleg CD's of course, but I don't think 2 for one tape trades are that big a deal. At the time it was my only real option as I was jujst starting to trade and had nothing to offer to this person with hundreds and hundreds of shows. Anyway, the point of my post was not to fuss about legalities etc, the point of my post was to warn all of you NOT to trade with Silver Kat.
