Anybody know the author? I love this song and sing it a lot. My sheet music says that it is Traditional and we don't know who the author is. There have different arrangements that people could take credit for, but the song's origin goes back to Ireland and we have lost the original composer. But I would sell my Mama to a band of gypsies to hear Patty sing that song. One thing you might want to know is that "crazy" was not written by Willie Nelson...it is an old standard, however it was written by Patsy Cline. ------------------------------ Date: 08 Mar 99 17:17:23 +0000 From: Robin Hall Subject: Re: MM: Let's try this again - Patty at the Fillmore Patsy Cline sang it, but Willie Nelson wrote it. Hi guys!, I was sitting here tonight talking to my love Michelle about Patty. Just bragging about what a wonderful and devoted Patty fan I am, and how I'm hoping for her prompt arrival back in PA..when suddenly, I was overwhelmed with this horrible realization that..Maybe I'm not all that big of a Patty fan afterall.. Michelle and I were discussing baby names, when SUDDENLY, much to my surprise, I realized, I have absolutely NO IDEA what Patty's middle name is..I was horrified to think that I never asked, and never really even though about it before...so..guys..I need your help here. I'm wondering if ANYONE knows Patty's full name..if Patty is her 1st name, or if it's Patricia..and also what her middle name is. I know this all sounds stupid, but I feel like I need to know now.. I'm hoping that not everyone knows this and I'm not the only one who doesn't..I guess her music keeps my attention on ONLY her music, and I don't even have time to think about things like her name..but the fact that I don't know her middle name is really bothering me right now..thank you all for your time!
