I know there are only a few on this list in my area, but I wanted to let you know about it anyway. Elaine DATE Sunday, Feb. 21 TIME 3:00 pm WHERE Elaine's house, (directions below) 29 Warren Street, Watertown, MA COST $12.00 $6.00 if you can show one stub from one show FREE if you can show both ticket stubs from the Passim and Somerville shows As you all probably know, Rose will be giving two performances in this area during the month of February. The first: Thurs., Feb 11, at Club Passim in Cambridge The second: Sat.Feb. 20, at the Somerville Theatre, "Chapter in Verse". In addition to Rose, Erin McKeown, Lori McKenna, Lynn Miles and Laurie Geltman will be performing this night. It would be great if you could attend both shows to give your support, but if you can only attend one show, then bring your ticket stub from the show to the house concert, and the normal admission of $12.00 will be half off. If you show ticket stubs from both shows, then admission is free. I hope you will enjoy Rose's music by attending the great shows in the clubs as well as in a special, intimate setting. So bring some friends, and if I haven't heard from you before, please let me know if you think you will be coming. Thanks, and here are directions to my house: - ------------------------------------------ >From 95 North or South: Take 95 N or S to Route 2 East (exit 29A). From Rt 2 East, take exit 56 - Winter St/Waverly exit and take a right at the end . Go to the bottom of the hill and take a left at the stop sign onto Concord Ave. Bear right at the gas station and proceed up the hill. Go straight to the lights at the bottom of the hill and take a left onto Trapelo Road. Get in the right lane, because shortly the road will split and you will bear right. Pass a Mobil gas station - go through the lights here and pass several churches. This is Lexington Street in Belmont. At the end of this street, take a right at the stop sign onto Belmont street, then bear left where the road forks and proceed onto Lexington Street in Watertown to a set of lights. Go straight 'till you come to another set of lights - this is the intersection of Lexington & Warren Streets. Take a left onto Warren. My house is #29, a small blue cape on the left about 2 blocks down. >From Route 2 West: 2 West to Exit 56/Rt. 4 - Rt. 225. Stay in the left lane, and take a left at the stop sign. Follow the sign for Rt. 2 , but don't get back on Rt. 2. Go straight, and follow the same directions as above from the point where you turn left onto Concord Ave. If you are driving and need additional directions or if you're taking the T and need to know the best way to get here, e-mail me at bean@neu.edu, or call me at (617) 926-3499. ------------------------------ End of mad-mission-digest V3 #14 ********************************
