Of course Patty sings folk music. She also sings severe rock. Listen to "Poor
Man's House" and then to " Flaming Red." She is above definition. But , Lord,
you people act like there is something wrong with being considered folk music.
I consider her a folk artist like Joni Mitchell, The Indigo Girls or Dar , but
she can also tear a room apart like Janis Joplin, who wasn't really folk.

WHO CARES? Just listen to her.
