Hi Everyone!,

I just have to share some thoughts/feelings with you all here ok??  

Last night I finally got the opportunity to see Mary Arden Collins perform
live again..it was the 1st time since the 1st time I saw her this summer at
the WXPN Singer/Songwriter Festival in Philly.  Hopefully I won't have to wait
so long again till next time.

She was just fabulous, playing songs from her 1st CD, mixed with songs from
her CD that's due out in February, as well as the occasional cover song..one
of which was a wonderful version of Change.  Which, whether you are a Patty
fan or not, had to be one of the highlights of the show!  

She just has such a beautiful voice that is kind of hard to descibe unless you
actually hear it.  I can't really compare it to anyone, it's one of a kind.
As a live performer she really shines, she has a wonderful stage presence.
She has so much fun at what she's doing!  If you have not heard her CD yet,
it's certainly worth the $12 to buy it.  If you go to www.maryardencollins.com
there should be more info there.

After the show I stuck around to say Hello to her, I had heard only really
great things about how sweet she is...Since I have troubles speaking in
complete sentences when meeting someone I truly admire for the 1st time, I did
not talk long....unlike my e-mails..Anyway, she was just as kind and sweet as
what everyone had told me.  She has the most lovely and sincere smile.  She
was so grateful for me making the trip of just over an hour to see her....It
was MY pleasure!  I have driven far longer for other musicians I didn't enjoy
1/2 as much.

So..with that, I'm going to say these last few weeks have been all a fan of
great Live music can ask for!  I got to see Nancy Micciulla's "breathtaking"
performance last weekend!!!  (from my previous post)  This weekend Mary Arden
Collins, 2 weekends from now..PATTY G!!  I am truly counting my blessings!!
What a wonderful and sweet life this life CAN be..:)
