Everyone, Forget my previous post..I became a BIG boy and was able to get all the info myself..:) Here's what I found out..it's WRNR's 1st annual Acoustic Christmas Concert. It is being help at the John's Hopkins University's Shriver Hall at 8p.m. the artists listed as performing are.. Full sets from Patty, Son Volt, and Rusted Root. Also performing is the Kennedy's. For tickets go to any Hecht's Department Store, or call (410) 481-SEAT. Tickets are $20 in advance..should be EXTREMELY cool! I can't help but wonder..since it's acoustic..will Patty be solo?? I have my doubts, but I can only hope! No offense at all to the full band thing, because I love that too. I'm just feeling nostalgic right now. I can see the full band thing from now on. I believe it was bigalgofish who posted that Patty is not being promoted in Old Town. Well, out here in Nashville, she is given HEAVY airplay time on our awesome Lightning 100. THey really support Patty and have hosted a few of her concerts here. They are hosting another one here on the 6th at "3rd and Lindsley." I can't wait! I've never seen her live, but from the sound of her albums, she seems to be a very expressive performer. Lightning 100 has a website at WRLT.com and they broadcast some of their shows on the web.
