Someone emailed me and said that they're going to contact Patty about it. Are we all pretty much agreed on the mad mission quote? If anyone wants to submit a design using the words, or just a design, go ahead and send it to me Saliers__Ray@yahoo.com don't be shy about it either! If you have an idea then draw it up and scan it or whatnot, I'll upload 'em all to a page and let everyone vote. One thing that I am a bit confused about, is, are we going to have EVERYING on the back? or the quote on the front and the list address on the back? any ideas for colors? red is obviously the first one that comes to mind! *HUGS* Lamia - ---Jessica Sampson wrote: I thought that someone offered to call them on yesterdays post, Ill keep waiting to hear > news!!! > Love Jess > == "Love demands expression. I just wanted to tell you that I did call Patty's Management this morning, but Michael Baker was "on another line"...as his message put it. I have a feeling that he is always on another line...anyhow, I left a brief and succinct message pertaining to what we are trying to accomplish here with the T-shirts...as professional as I could sound at 8:00 in the morning... But, I am thrilled that Mike, the owner of MM is getting involved. I believe Michael Baker (Patty's Manager) will be alot more responsive to Mike than to just another Mad Mission member. So, thanks go out to Mike. However, I did notice in the liner notes of Flaming Red that there is a seperate entity to deal with besides the Management. It reads "Legal Beagle: Nick Ferrara, for Serling, Rooks, and Ferrara." So, I have a feeling that mike might be shuttled from management to the legal beagle. Maybe not...but..Hey...I think Jessica was right when she said this may take forever... My concert date for Patty is Nov.7 and I think I might just improvise some self made T-shirt for that show...but will definitely intend to get a members-only shirt as soon as we secure the rights and means... If Management knew how many people might want one, I think they would get busy on a merchandise catalog. If enough people inquire, maybe that would happen. If you would like to fax Michael Baker to inquire about the availability of Patty merchandise...in hopes that the more the people inquire, the more they will see the demand,...then you can find his fax and phone number in the liner notes of Living With Ghosts. That way I can keep my hands clean of any fallout that may arise by telling you his number and then having a bunch of anxious MMs calling and faxing...and bothering him. But...anyhow...T-shirts are only a matter of waiting now...I believe.
