There is an exit for Dean Keeton (which used to be 26th). Go West from the freeway there about 3 lights until you hit Guadalupe. South (left) on Guadalupe. The Union is located on the East side of Guadalupe right across from the University Co-Op. Parking shouldn't be a huge problem. I suggest turning left somewhere before the Co-Op and parking on campus (it won't be restricted in the evening). Anyone besides Joshua and I going to this one? I also hear Patty is doing the KGSR Christmas show. Does anyone have info. on that? Thanks! To Everyone Interested in the Austin Show... Patty's November the 7th show at the Texas Union Ballroom... Tickets went on sale Saturday...NOT SOLD OUT. I spoke with the agents at UTTM (University of Texas TicketMaster) and she was still able to pull up 99tickets at a time...so there are plenty of tickets left...as of 11:30am on Monday...and what's more is that it is General Admission, so, get there early...and get good seats... As I said, tickets are being handled by Ticket Master, and can be charged by phone...call 512-477-6060 for tickets and info. The ticket cost $15.50, but if you charge you will pay $18.00. If you are in the Austin area, and don't want to pay the $2.50 service charge, buy your tickets at the Frank Erwin Center... The lady at UTTM that I spoke with could not tell me who the opening act would be...it was written as "With Special Guest"... From what I have heard from Austinites and UT students, the Texas Union Ballroom is a very intimate venue...one to really enjoy. So, I am very excited... Central Texans who are planning on going...it will be fun to meet Griffin Fanatics in the flesh!!!! Can't wait to see you all there!!
