I am a singer/Songwriter trying to promote my CD Healing. I am from the NY-NJ area and I would love to open for Patty on the 22nd at the Bowery Ballroom. Any advice would be great. Thank you and I am so glad that she (Patty) is getting the attention she deserves. She is the only person I choose to go see live for right now. Some of the tables upstairs have blocked views, but it's a good space. - -- In the fantasy of my dreams I have imagined myself as the announcer for a Cubs/White Sox World Series. I live near Annapolis and I have to go to work early the next morning. Also, of all weeks, that Tuesday Mary Chapin Carpenter is playing the 930 Club and I don't know if my budget can take two hits in one week! If I go I hope to see you there. I'll be by myself 'cause my wife and son are going to the 930 show with me and the Patty show is an over 18 show. I also heard about the Bayou biting the development dust....bummer! But the owner did say in an article in the Post that he would start looking for a suitable place to locate a new Bayou. So, don't give up ALL hope! ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 30 Sep 1998 22:18:37 -0400 From: "Terry D. Kline" Subject: MM: RE: DC Show I'll be there. No way I'm missing this show! I had heard that the Bayou was closing in November, but I didn't know why until now.
