Having vast knowledge of those halcyon days of the 60's and 70's, my peronal experience tells me that writing songs under the influence of acid usually doesn't work out. Best to take your inspiration from those experiences and save the playing for when your instrument isn't squirming like a snake in your hands. More recent experince of blowing an entire day in a studio trying to teach a bass player on acid a simple 4 chord Irish traditional ballad hasn't done anything to change my mind. Mary Arden Collins is an artist from Delaware, and tours mostly Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. I saw her at the recent WXPN singer/songwriter weekend, and she was quite good. Her website is http://www.maryardencollins.com. You may be able to order her CD's at any record store. Or go to one of the resources below. And no, you can't have my autographed copy of her self titled first album for a Tori.
