V2 #193 I think the production on this album is quite brilliant. If we are to get technical, let's visit Jack Joseph Puig on the set of Jellyfish's "Spilt Milk" album. THAT, my friends, is the ultimate production and one of the best producers in the universe. Yu should hear it for production reasons alone if you want to try to understand production, although Jellyfish should be heard also (R.I.P.). I thought Tony sounded great...here's the catch...I never heard Patty's first release... LET THE FLAMES BEGIN!!!! I apologize, but am thankful I'm on board with just Flaming Red so far. COMING SOON : Patty's FIRST CD! PeaceLove&Grace, +m ~ : ) ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 9 Jul 1998 09:16:35 -0500 From: "Paquin, John" Subject: MM: re: hilarious check out www.cnn.com ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 9 Jul 1998 10:23:02 -0500 From: "Paquin, John" Subject: MM: The cnn thing... Sorry for the confusion!! I guess I should have said, try www.cnn.com in the the dialect thing that Bill told us about, it comes out pretty funny! Anway, I've dragged you all much to far into the murky swamp of things non-Patty, so I'll close with something from FR/Tony that I REALLY liked. In the second verse, Patty says: I hated every day of high school Funny I guess you did too It's funny how I never knew There I was sitting right behind you. She follows this by describing Tony's despair and saying: I knew that story, I was sitting right behind you. I love the way she uses the same phrase "sitting right behind you" to mean two different things. That she was blind to his despair, and that she shared his despair I love that! - -john ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 9 Jul 1998 12:32:44 -0400 (EDT) From: "Stephen V. Yippee ! It's called "Up and Flying", and it's the Patty song that Reba McEntire recorded :). I got the lyrics from Barry Goold ( yay ! ) and it looks like a beautiful song. ALSO, and this is weird.... I put up a link so you can actually sumbit lyrics FROM the site. That way, you can see if you know any songs that aren't up there, and then you can fill out the form and send in the lyrics right there. I KNOW there are lots of songs I don't have- especially anything older than 1996. Please help ! Umm... that's all :) Rachel :D ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 09 Jul 1998 15:58:46 -0400 From: Elaine Bean Subject: Re: MM: Lyrics archive updated :) CornflkGl@aol.com wrote: > > Hiya everybody :) > > The PGLA. . . . got updated Rachel, At first glance, I thought this said LPGA - and I said "Why the heck does Rachel care about Ladies Professional Golf?
