OK, so I had to go all the way to Manhattan to see it ( I live in Mass. ) , and there were only four people TOTAL in the theatre, and the tickets were $8.50 ( believ it or not, they're $2.50 here ), but still... I liked it. It wasn't the BEST movie I've ever seen, but for people who like quirky little films , it was good. If you're going to see it, pay attention to the way that all of the secondary characters ( Doug, the girl in the gas station, etc. ) are either gay or have some sort of sexual perversion. I thought that was cool :) To summarize the movie a little, it's about a girl named Marcy ( Robin Tunney of The Craft ) and a guy named Seth ( Henry Thomas of ET ) going on a long drive to Toronto to get a black "Bobbee" doll styling head for Marcy. Marcy has tourette's syndrome, and is also schitzophrenic, and Seth is an abused child, so wacky hijinks ensue. "Regarding Mary" is around the middle of the movie, and starts playing as a song on the car radio, then turns into what you hear as you see shots of them driving. "You are Not Alone" is at the very end of the film. So, after all this useless typing... I thought it was a good story. Go see it :) Rachel :D ~*~The Patty Griffin Lyrics Archive ~*~ ~*~http://www.geocities.com/wellesley/3079/patty.html~*~ ------------------------------ End of mad-mission-digest V2 #102 *********************************
