Along with a new title page, a spring update has been added. Last but not least, two wonderful pages of Patty "in Concert" photos have been added. http://nw3.nai.net/~zigmont/photo1.html http://nw3.nai.net/~zigmont/photo2.html All these photos including the new title page were taken by an extremely gifted photographer from Detroit, named Kathleen M. Wayt. You'll be hearing alot more about her work in the future. Her "eye" for capturing Patty is magnificent and I hope you enjoy them, All the best Jerry "Flaming Red" - A Patty Griffin Website http://nw3.nai.net/~zigmont/ ------- Jerry Zigmont: zigmont@ct2.nai.net ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 29 Mar 1998 20:45:49 EST From: bamerrill@juno.com Subject: MM: Regarding Mary Does anyone know anything about the soundtrack to "Niagara," specifically when it'll be out? Patty told me that her song "Regarding Mary" (different from "Mary") which I heard her play in '94 and absolutely loved, will be on it. It's already listed on that music-store-computer-thing, but it just says '98 for a release date. Anyway, definitely worth checking out.. I think there's at least one other song of hers on it. According to CD NOW the soundtrack for Niagra Niagra will be released April 7th. Besides "regarding mary" it has Patty's "you are not alone". Also a couple of pieces of music by the Cowboy Junkies' Michael Timmins- He musta done the score for it. The film, which stars Robin Tunney (who won a big award for her performance at the Cannes film festival, I believe) and Henry Thomas (my own personal favorite) is about a young man who falls in love with a woman with Tourette's Syndrome and joins her on the search for a perfect Barbie Doll head. !?! :) It's playing now in LA & NYC, opens Friday in some more cities. :) Mine too, which explains my obvious excitement here. peace, rick *truth changes colors, depending on the light.* - -Kasi Lemmons http://members.aol.com/rbsayre/rick.html *there must be a divine point to it all. it's just over my head & when we die it'll all come clear & we'll say- so that was the damn point* ------------------------------ End of mad-mission-digest V2 #83 ********************************
