Subject: MM: Patty Rocks Austin Texas!

Well folks,

I just got in from the Patty show at the Cactus Cafe' in Austin....and of
course I'm still walking on air!~~~~~~~~   
 The crowd was totally awed by her performance!   She pumped up the house with
"Cain" and kept everyone under her charming spell until she ended with a
powerful encore, singing "Crazy" for all the brave people that begged her to.
(hehe).
What was amazing is even after Patty said her final goodbye, the crowd stood
up(one of the many standing ovations) and chanted her name for at least 5 more
minutes!

My husband and I were invited to visit with her for a moment after the
show...(the heavens have rained down upon us today?)  Patty was wonderfully
kind and receptive to us, we enjoyed her pure, humble, kind demeanor.  She is
fortunate to have a fabulous manager who seems devoted to her as well as her
adoring fans. (Thank you very much for making my day, and don't forget that
offer for the living room tour!;)

This *is* a discussion forum about about Patty and her music.  While I realize
some issues can be over analyzed, etc., that is what is so wonderful about the
list . . . it represents the collective thoughts and interpretations of all of
us.  Respectfully, if you don't like what is being discussed, hit the delete
button.

OK, so I was a bit annoyed with the Tony thread too, but I know about the
miracle that is the delete button. Inconspicuous little thing, it allows
others freedom to post whatever they want while turning you into a kinder,
gentler person who doesn't complain about other's discussions.

But since you've obviously been deprived of the delete button in your past, I
