They stream their broadcast over the internet. For those of you with Real Audio, go to http://channel1031.com/ and you can listen to it. She'll probably do a couple of songs and some chat. The music director at 103.1, Nicole Sandler, is a major supporter of Patty. It will air at 12:00 noon PST (that's 3 p.m. for you eastcoast folks) and will be rebroadcast at 9:00 pm. PST (12 midnight in the east). P.S. I'm generally a lurker, so hi everone! I'm live in L.A. (but my heart's in Pennsylvania) and am extremely jealous of those who won tickets to the special Patty show at the Mint. I tried in vain. For those of you not familiar with the cruise, Delbert McClinton does a cruise boat every winter and lines up a bunch of acts for a week long trip. I've never been but hear its lots of fun. It sails out of the Port of Houston first week of January, with Cancun, Cozumel, Isla Mujures as ports of call. We went online at www.delbert.com for info, and looks like the cheap cabins are already sold out, but middle class cabin are still available. Here's your chance to be stranded on a boat full of partiers with Patty--what could be better?? Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Sender: owner-mad-mission-news@smoe.org Precedence: bulk Hi fellow Mad-Mishers :-) At the web address below is a graphic of a new t-shirt that was being sold at the shows Patty recently opened for Johnny Lang. I do not know for certain if they will be sold at future events this summer, but I have a funny feeling they will. (it only makes sense) Patty worked hand in hand with the t-shirt company to come up with this design which is 100% her idea. They were selling for $23 at the shows. I have been asked by Pattys' management to see if there is an interest amongst the members of this list for this t-shirt. This would be via mail order. It is not known at this time what the cost would be including shipping etc....those details are yet to be worked out. I also do not yet know about foreign orders, but replies to this query from non-USA list members will certainly help determine that. I do not know for certain if other colors would be available and based on wha tI see in the graphic I cannot imagine it being any color other than black. The graphic is of a black shirt with a red, pink, grey and white design and it just wouldn't look right on another color shirt, IMO. I imagine it would be available in all the standard sizes, AND it better be available in 3X too! (I know you are reading this management.....hint, hint, hint :-) Anyway, you can see the shirt here: http://www.spectra.net/~ducksoup/pattyg/tshirt.htm If you do not have web access, the design is a four color graphic of an oriental swordsman, the sword is pointing down, you can see "motion lines" where he just whoooooshed the sword. ( I always wanted to use the word "whooooosh" in a letter ) There is a dark pinkish rectangle around the swordsman, with thin white lines on the right and left side of the rectangle. On the left side of the rectangle is "Patty Griffin" and on the right side of the rectangle is "Flaming Red", both "Patty Griffin" and "Flaming Red" are in red,are an oriental font and are vertical. So, basically what I need is input from ALL of you who would be interested in purchasing one of these shirts if it were available through mail order. If you are not interested, there is no need to reply. Interested folk should reply to me at ducksoup@spectra.net with the word "t-shirt" anywhere in the subject line. I really don't know any more than what I've layed out above, however if any questions fly my way that warrant me asking, by golly then I'll ask her management and relay the information back to the list.
