It's from 'One Longfellow Square' in Portland Maine. I don't remember seeing it listed last week. I used to watch Concert Window a lot, but they were free then. When they went to a pay model, I lost my enthusiam. :) But...I think it's a fair price for a good product. I signed up for the 3 week free trial and I'll see where it goes from there. At Passim last week, I enjoyed Lucy telling the (family) story behind the cover painting for 'Reunion'. I don't recall the exact details, but I imagine she will repeat the story tonight. Other shows I want to watch on Concert Window are "Winterbloom" (which includes Antje Duvekot) next Thursday and "Jennifer Kimball's Harmonic Celebration of Wintery Songs" on the 18th. I really like 'Reunion', but I'm disappointed "Let It Be" wasn't on it. Maybe it just didn't fit in with the flow of the songs (one ballad too many maybe). I hadn't heard "My Father's Son" in a couple of years, and the song has changed quite a bit. I think I liked the original version better. "Sleep Well" is definitely my favorite song on the album. d. howery ------------------------------ End of lucy-list-digest V12 #12 ******************************* This has been a posting from the Lucy Kaplansky mail list digest To unsubscribe send mail to Majordomo@smoe.org with "unsubscribe lucy-list-digest" in the body of the message
