She was interviewed and performed "Manhattan Moon", "Over The Hills" and "Today's The Day". 20 mb download: http://www.bcc.ctc.edu/kbcs/downloads/Live_Performances/20070510_Lucy_Kaplansky.mp3 She was also on KLCC (Eugene, Or) on May 12th. I was searching for radio appearances and I just by chance tuned in to the station about 2 minutes before Lucy and Antje Duvekot did a short, joint interview (not archived). Lucy performed "The Gift". Lucy must really like to interview. It seems like wherever she goes, she appears on a local radio station. I wonder who sets these interviews up? ...Lucy? ...the concert venue?...her management? I only find out about them by "googling"; I wish there was some way to know about them in advance. I love hearing Lucy live on the radio, just her and her guitar. I possibly enjoy these performances more than her actual cds. I also enjoy what she has to say, even though I don't care for most of the people interviewing her. Sometimes someone asks a dumb question and Lucy sets them straight. I enjoy that! d. howery - --------------------------------- Yahoo! oneSearch: Finally, mobile search that gives answers, not web links. ------------------------------ End of lucy-list-digest V9 #42 ****************************** This has been a posting from the Lucy Kaplansky mail list digest To unsubscribe send mail to Majordomo@smoe.org with "unsubscribe lucy-list-digest" in the body of the message
