It was just Lucy and her guitar (with a few piano songs too). She sang a mix of new and old songs, many of her songs and some covers. She sang "Return of the Grievous Angel" at my request. It was an intimate and wonderful show. John Platt was the host on her other recent appearance on WFUV, so I don't think it's a repeat. http://www.wfuv.org/music/ ****** Lucy was on a syndicated radio program called "Art Of The Song". I don't know when it was recorded, but apparently it was first broadcast in February. I've listened to the show before; they interview musical performers about songwriting. The show is slickly produced. The 2 hosts speak in portentous tones and ask what they think are important questions. I don't much care for it. Still, Lucy had some interesting things to say. She performed "Manhattan Moon" and "Ten Year Night", though they edited it so that Lucy was talking over the first part of each song. With the interview, the 2 live songs and some recorded songs they played, Lucy took up around 45 minutes of the hour show. The interviewer didn't ask too many stupid questions, he let Lucy talk and he didn't talk over the songs she performed. This show was (slightly over) an hour and they talked about a lot more than what's usually covered in the short radio interviews. Lucy talked about the new songs, about her history in the music business, about writing songs with Rick and, of course, Molly was mentioned. I learned some things I didn't know.
