Yes, of course, I can try....
Lucy is indeed Lucy Kaplansky.
Perhaps at some point you signed up to be on the Lucy List which is simply  a 
mailing essentially generated by folks who like Lucy's music, and those who  
are more ardent fans.
 
Folks write to the list with dates of concerts,  tickets they  cannot use, 
"Lucy-related news", e.g., her new baby, condolences on her dear  Father's ( a 
man we loved and respected as well) death, etc.
It is, in essence, a community of folks who for lack of a better term  love 
Lucy and her music.
 
If you do not wish to receive any more correspondence, there is a way to  
unsubscribe from the list, you may go to _lucykaplansky.com_ 
(http://www.lucykaplansky.com) , or email _lucy-list@smoe.org_ (mailto:elucy-list@smoe.org)  and I 
think in the  subject line type unsubscribe. That is my recollection.... I am 
simply one of  many who received your honest query and felt someone should 
respond and may have  already.

To unsubscribe I believe you email _majordomo@smoe.org_ 
(mailto:majordomo@smoe.org) . And write unsubscribe  in subject line. To unsubscribe in an mail to 
_lucy-list@smoe.org_ (mailto:lucy-list@smoe.org)  would only send  your 
intention to all the folks on the list and not stop the emails!
 
I apologize to the folks on the list for the last 2 emails reaching  you and 
this individual, I just was unable to reply to the query  any other way.
