I am not certain if it would work, I watch his show as well. It might work so it is worth a try. Perhaps Lucy might not want to appear -- we should take that into consideration.... If we are choosing the songs, should they all be the same, one Lucy in synchrony on CD? I will go with the consensus, that is the only way this can work. I do think we should ask Lucy if she is comfortable with it first. First time writing to list... Please give voice to your thoughts. My thoughts on that is that she certainly can say no if they offer her a spot. As for the plugs, it is hard to tell. There is nothing professional about our efforts and she is well established enough (i.e. already been on the CBS morning show, NPR and getting reviews from high places) that it will be obvious that the effort will be coming from fans. I can't think of a negative here other than it not working. But, discussion is now open and it is certainly possible that I have overlooked issues... I also live in LA and could go to the show and deliver the CDs, but somehow that loses the effect. I feel like they would get tossed immediately. I often see Jay Leno on my way to work, but have not yet figured out how to get the CD from my car to his ;o) Gina CandyAsman@aol.com wrote: I'm in. Or that specific show? I do agree that the heart felt, ardent desire to let the world hear Lucy overrides the potential negatives. And as you so aptly stated, she can say "No, thank you." when asked. So now we have 3? Or more? Please when we have a handful let us time the sending as closely as possible so the folks on the Northeast can have extra transit time, and decide... shall we each pick our own favorites, or decide on 6 or 10 and send the same ones? I personally think an eclectic group of songs but still all LUCY CD might be better as it represents the diversity of her fan base. Please keep me updated. Folks who want to join with us, please speak up.
