I have had it for quite some time, and I have no idea where I got it from, much less where the song itself comes from. There is some heavy orchestration behind them. Does anyone have any background information on this song? This was Friday night at the Sellersville Theater. The theater is a beautiful, 300-seat room located about a hour northwest of Philly. Excellent sound in the room; which Lucy commented on both during and after the show. (See "ST94.com" - some great shows coming up if you're in the area.) She seemed relaxed; and while not as chatty as other times I've seen her, she did relate a few cute Molly stories, and had some good interaction with the audience. She wore a sleeveless top, which struck me as odd because it was kind of cold. We found out towards the end of the show, it was to show off her "muscles" - as she has been working out. I had a chance before the show to ask her how her dad was doing. She looked at me rather quizically, and asked how I knew; and I just smiled and said that I read the Lucy-List every day. Lucy said that her dad had had "some very serious health problems" earlier, but that he was doing much better now. The show was just Lucy, her guitar, and - for 2 songs - a piano. She went straight through for close to 1-1/2 hours. Some interesting renditions of some of the songs. A too short, wonderful show. The set list is below. Ron A 1. He thinks I still care (Lucy didn't know the writer of this song - Lucy, it's by D. L. Lipscomb) George Jones had a big hit with "SHE thinks...", and later Anne Murray with "HE thinks...". 2. Written on the back of his hand 3. Love Song - New York 4. Ten Year Night 5. God Will (Lyle Lovett) 6. The Red Thread 7. Don't mind me 8. Goodnight Moon (new song) 9. Brooklyn Train 10. One Good Reason 11. Scorpion 12. Line in the Sand 13. Ring of Fire (June Carter Cash) 14. This is Home 15. Just You Tonight 16. Song About Pi 17. Turn the Lights back On (her "one angry song for the evening") 18. Guinevere Encore: 19. Mary & the Soldier (she read my mind!) ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 27 Feb 2005 20:23:17 -0500 From: Tom Neff Subject: Re: [lucy-list] attention Lucy archivists - --On Sunday, February 27, 2005 7:24 PM -0500 Ron Alderfer wrote: > I have an MP3 of Lucy and Shawn Colvin doing the song "Heart on Ice". It looks like the song is from "Fast Folk - Live at the Bottom Line" - Aug/Sept 1986.
