WITH RICHARD SHINDELL IN HIS SATURDAY MAINSTAGE SET Fanerio (gorgeous...she also sang with him on this another time, during a workshop I think) Last Fare of the Day Are You Happy Now? SUNDAY-OUR ROOTS ARE SHOWING WORKSHOP Boulder to Birmingham Carey Tell Me What You See (Utter rarities all, and completely stunning---an amazing way to wrap up her Falcon Ridge weekend! I would have given a lot for a recording of this workshop, but it was not to be...Falcon Ridge really should record the workshops officially and sell copies for charity or something...I suppose there would be rights issues and things, but I would've bought this one if I could have...) ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 31 Jul 2004 22:26:00 -0400 From: Tom Neff Subject: Re: [lucy-list] what Lucy sang at Falcon Ridge - --On Saturday, July 31, 2004 9:37 PM -0400 Benay Bubar wrote: > ... I am working on this for the future. FRFF's physical and temporal logistics make it more of a hassle than might be obvious. The mainstage set will eventually be added to Grassy Hill Radio. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 31 Jul 2004 22:23:27 -0400 From: Phil Kalina <76106.566@compuserve.com> Subject: [lucy-list] We who largely lurk At 21 Jul 2004 22:12:16 -0400 (edt), Benay wrote: > ... > [pokes slumbering Lucy-list with fork to see if it's dead or alive]... Just wanted to make it clear that we who largely lurk are still here--still enjoying Benay's commentaries. And I think it's way cool that the NY Times cited Benay as the expert on non-driving and non-taxi-taking in NYC. Phil-- wondering whether now that I've bought a new car (to replace my good old Corolla, which protected me from injury as it was totaled by an errant SUV on the DC Beltway three weeks ago) I should break it in with a trip to hear Forbert and Kaplansky in Harrisburg on Friday. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 31 Jul 2004 22:46:04 -0400 From: Benay Bubar Subject: Re: [lucy-list] We who largely lurk > Phil-- wondering whether now that I've bought a new car (to replace my > good old Corolla, which protected me from injury as it was totaled by > an errant SUV on the DC Beltway three weeks ago) I should break it in > with a trip to hear Forbert and Kaplansky in Harrisburg on Friday. > Whoa...very glad you are OK, Phil!!! Really sorry that happened to you. And YES, you should go to Harrisburg on Friday...what better use for a new car? (OK, I admit it...not a completely unbiased opinion!) And...very cool to hear that more Falcon Ridge recordings may someday be a reality, Tom...I can indeed imagine the logistics could be difficult, but glad to hear it's being contemplated!
