I think it was the best Lucy show I have ever experienced! A small venue with good sound. I was so pleased that Michael Kearsey brought Lucy to us, because it looked for a while like we might not be on the list of stops. Lucy was amazing. It was the first time I have heard her live with piano so we got to hear Willie and Brooklyn Train. Mmmmmmm. My Name Joe, lots of new, lots of old. Motherhood has changed Lucy. It has made her more. She was always great but she is greater. As she was singing I thought about what you said, Benay. She IS utterly believable. And there must be an awfully good reason why she chooses to spend her life going from place to place singing to us. Sure a lot packed into that new cd! I'm in love with it.
