Paul played Gravity Lounge in Charlottesville with local singer/songwriter Melissa McClain. He was there to back her up on bass & guitar. We're hoping to bring him back, so I'll make sure he plays that song. :-) don - -- Allah, Buddha, Yahweh, Jesus, Brahma People get ready there's a train that's a coming Many different legends, just one story All aboard the train that's bound for Glory -- "Stand", The Kennedys Don Semmens; Richmond VA; donsem@comcast.net Richmond Songwriter Series http://www.richmondsongwriterseries.com Visit the Regan fan site http://www.nickelsanddimes.org ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 26 Jan 2004 09:09:58 -0500 From: Sdgold60@aol.com Subject: [lucy-list] radio airplay its New Music Monday on WFUV and claudia marshall played "line in the sand" nice to hear lucy again on my car radio... now i just have to hear her in person... sharon "I'm so glad that you finally made it here With the things you know now, that only time could tell Looking back, seeing far, landing right where we are And oh, you're aging, oh and I am aging, Oh, aren't we aging well?" ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 26 Jan 2004 09:56:45 -0500 From: rachel@rachelwrites.com Subject: Re: [lucy-list] hey, there's a song ABOUT Lucy! That was a pretty damned funny clip. I was waiting to hear him mention Dar though! I'm tempted too - but broke!~ Let us know how it ends, OK, Benay? I was really hoping Lucy would swing down here to Ashland Coffee & Tea where she has played often, on this upcoming tour, but so far the closest she's scheduled to come is Wolf Trap. It has a John Prine/Iris DeMent feel to it. Thanks Benay. As for The Red Thread....it is wonderful! I love the song selections and the order of appearance. I'm always fascinated by this.....how do they choose? The same goes for radio airplay!! So far WFUV has played "Love Song/NY" and "Line In The Sand". I'm waiting to see what songs my local radio station plays. I love the photography of The Red Thread too.....I love everything about this cd....beautiful songs & lyrics, great covers and of course Lucy's gorgeous voice!!! Now I just have to hear her in person too...like Sharon. My schedule(children's schedule) keeps conflicting with Lucy's.
